Project Details

Summary

Created for the avid cyclists looking for structured training, this was designed specifically for my local cycling club where members were beginning to go beyond leisurely cycling and into competitive racing. 

This project was created using:
Articulate Rise 360, Adobe Express, and Canva

The Outcome

I requested that the elite group of eight cyclists take the course, and we developed a 30-day training regimen following the supplied protocols. After the trail period there was noticeable improvement in performance, as well as higher efficacy of the nutrition and training correlation. 

The Process

I created this project after noticing that our regular training was not yielding the desired results of the cycling team. After consulting with local trainers and nutritionists I created an action map which informed my development of an eLearning-based module. After mapping out the scope and sequence of the information, the module was developed with approachable, yet actionable items at the forefront. 

Takeaways

Through this project, I deepened my understanding and use of Articulate Rise 360 and Adobe Express. I thoroughly enjoyed thinking of how to take a boat-load of data pertaining to training and breaking it down into a fairly simple module. 

If I were to do this project again, I would try to create a more approachable element to the information as the current version is very much geared towards experienced cyclists.
